The network Nr. 7 within the URB-AL Program proposes to multiply the knowledge, experiences and techniques interchanges between the Latin American and European cities concerning the " Management and Control of the Urbanization" thematic.

The interchanges allow to the local actors their capacity development in order to confront the exigencies established by the accelerated urbanization phenomenon, which has been registered in the course of the last decades.

The approachment to the network central subjects – urban development programs and management models – bring us to concrete city applications , not as isolated undertakings, but as systematized operatories. These will be ordered depending on the different levels and intervention types, and have to guarantee successful results. According to it three management working tools will be articulated.
