Networks of Cities
Up one levelNetworks of cities are playing an increasingly important role in the international sphere as a key component of cities internationalisation strategy. Participation in these networks provides an adequate institutional framework so that local governments and especially Rosario authorities can exchange successful experiences relative to local management. Also, cooperate with other cities in areas of urban relevance by attracting technical and financial resources available internationally in order to upgrade the quality of public management. Besides, cities participation in these networks favours the international articulation which, in turn, contributes to stating local perspectives in regional or global spheres. Besides, it allows the coordination of efforts to face issues of global scale and a local impact. Therefore, Rosario has made the decision of becoming involved in the following networks of cities or articulation instances:
